Hello Laser Sailors,

 

Thanks to everyone who came out for TESOD yesterday.  It was a great evening of racing topped off by a beautiful sunset and live music by Dan Haas.  Does it get any better than that?

Laser Fleet 10 Update

 

Hello Laser Sailors!

 

Thanks for all of you that raced at Rock Hall Yacht Club last weekend.  It was a great event!  We were by far the largest fleet with 21 Lasers.  There were 92 boats total.  Bob Tan won the weekend, followed by Kerri Harris in second and Jon Deutsch in third.  Faye Flam was the first female.  Complete results are available at http://www.laserdistrict11.org/events/r219    Check out the awesome photo slide show at  http://photoshow.comcast.net/watch/Ac3sT4Cr.

Jun 30 SSA Summer Series #1 - SSA

    The three day Laser Summer Series begins on Sunday  June 30th (the following dates are Sun. July 22 and Sat. Aug. 4).  Registration is free for SSA members- there is a small fee for non-members.  Non-members can launch from SSA.  First warning at 11am.

TESOD-  After racing on Tuesday June 26th - Live Music with Dan Haas and free beer while the keg lasts.... come out and join the fun.  (racing is free to everyone but launching from SSA is reserved for members only on Tues. evenings- please fill out a registration form in the SSA clubhouse)

Laser Fleet 10 Update

 

Hello Laser Sailors!

 

Thanks to everyone who came out for the second day of our Laser Spring Series at SSA.  We managed to get in two races in less that optimal breeze... and lumpy powerboat wash.   Despite the dismal wind forcast we had around 20 boats.  Tip Clifton placed first in the series.  Followed by Ted Morgan in second and Eric Reinke in third.  Hopefully the complete results will be posted soon at the SSA website.

Summer One Design Regatta- Rock Hall Yacht Club

Saturday June 16 and Sunday June 17-  This is the third stop in the District 11 series.

Come out and enjoy some Eastern Shore hospitality!  This is a very fun regatta.  The club has a huge field so there is plenty of room for camping and rigging.  There is a pool so you can cool down after racing, as well as dinner and live music Saturday evening.  Check out the details at http://www.laserdistrict11.org/events/e219
