The 2006-2007 Frostbite season will begin Sunday November 19
The weather is about to turn a little chilly- chance of flurries this weekend! Time to think about Frostbiting:)
The 2006-2007 Frostbite season will begin Sunday November 19. Racing will continue every Sunday through the end of March- except for the following dates- Dec. 24 and Jan 28.
There is no registration fee for SSA members
The registration fee for non-SSA members is $177.00
Everyone must register!
Registration will open at 12:00 and the first race will be at 1 pm every race day. Races will finish before 3:30 pm or so- often we will be finished by 3 pm. Each day we will have as many races as we reasonably can- 8 is a typical number of races.
Season scores are calculated by the final scores from each days racing. To qualify for the overall series, a competitor must race at least half the season's racing.
Race committee is all volunteer for frostbite, so a schedule will be circulated giving all participants a chance to sign up for duty days. Volunteers receive a scoring credit.
Non-members are free to trailer in and launch from SSA for the days festivities, but boat storage at Severn Sailing Association is for members only.
