SSA Laser Fleet 10: Laser Fleet Update

Hello Laser Sailors,

Eight Lasers and one Radial competed last weekend in the David Irey Regatta at West River Sailing Club. Despite the heat and light breeze early each day we managed to get out sailing after an on-shore postponement. Brennan Drysdale placed first, followed by Roger Link in second and Jon Deustch in third.

The Spring Series concluded at SSA on Sunday June 8th. Brendan McAndrews placed first for the series followed by John Gebhardt in second and Jen Cook in third. Full results available at http://www.severnsailing.org/results/2008/68laser.shtml

There is no laser sailing on the bay this weekend! So you can all rest up for the Summer One Design Regatta at Rock Hall June 21-22. This is the third stop on the District 11 Series. Details can be found at http://www.laserdistrict11.org/events/e308
